Our Very Own Book Club.

Journal Club in the Park

Every month, the residency program reviews two literature articles pertinent to the field of emergency medicine. The sessions are educational yet also relaxing and enjoyable. Often, they are held in the home of one of our attendings.  They offer the opportunity to review important articles, while dissecting aspects of the study. What make studies clinically significant? How is the data organized and statistically calculated? In addition, each summer as a part of journal club, the residency chooses a book to discuss. Below are just a few of the recent articles/books discussed at journal club.
