Mt. Sinai Roosevelt Hospital

Roosevelt Hospital

Roosevelt Hospital's newly renovated Emergency Department was completed in late 2009.  Located near Columbus Circle, it is ideally situated to provide care for the west side of Manhattan, including Times Square, Midtown West, Clinton/Hell's Kitchen, and the Upper West Side.  In addition to community care, Roosevelt provides specialty care for complex and unusual conditions and also serves visitors from around the world.  Roosevelt is a Level 2 Trauma Center, a Stroke Center, and a Sexual Assault Referral Center. Our second and third year residents split their time between "Roosie" and St. Luke's.

Mt. Sinai St. Luke's Hospital

St. Luke's Hospital

The St. Luke's Emergency Department is located in Morningside Heights, near the undergraduate campus of Columbia University. St. Luke's is a Level 1 Trauma Center and runs at an even faster pace than Roosevelt, seeing over 130,000 patients per year. Our interns spend a majority of their time at this site, both in the Emergency Department and on off-service rotations. St. Luke's is also a STEMI Referral Hospital, Stroke Center and a Sexual Assault Referral Center.
